We know you don’t want to miss out and while we generally don’t allow refunds it seems unfair to penalize runners who can’t make it to this cool event when so many others are waiting in the wings for a spot!

Snow Moon Trail Run selling out has allowed us to create this process to encourage cancellation by those who are unable to participate in the race so that others may sign up. We’re happy to do this so nobody get’s stuck “eating” their full registration or paying for swag at an event they didn’t race. However, there are some rules to this unique cancellation policy:

  • There will be a $10 administrative fee with each event cancellation. In addition, Active.com transaction fees are non-refundable. Administrators will apply a credit to the card account used when registering that is equal to the full amount of the registration and merchandise purchases less the $10 administrative fee and any Active transaction fees.

  • Transfers are NOT allowed. With a waiting list in place, cancellation opens up a spot for the person at the top of the list. We’re sorry, but we can’t give preference to a friend or relative.

  • Cancellations MUST be requested by NOON on Friday, February 1st. There are several reasons for this, but basically we need time to get wait list replacements registered and to update any merchandise orders before they are placed with the vendors. Any cancellation requests after the February 1st Noon cutoff time will not be considered.

  • Cancellation is permanent. The only way back in for the event will be to sign up for the wait list and hope for a spot!

  • It will be assumed that merchandise orders are cancelled unless otherwise indicated. Hey, if you still plan to come out or have a friend who’ll be there, you can keep your purchases in Active and we’ll have them there for you if you’d like. Just indicate that desire in the form below and let us know in the Feedback block if you have someone picking up for you!

  • Tri To Finish reserves the right to deny cancellations for any reason. This process has been created to ensure maximum participation at Snow Moon Trail Run and to allow those waiting to get in a better chance to do so. If at any point cancellation requests become unreasonable or administratively cumbersome, we will step back from this process - at which time the No Refund or Transfer Policy for this race will be enforced.

If circumstances require cancellation, please fill out the form below. We will be in touch within 48 hours and will ask for confirmation that you indeed want to cancel. Once confirmed, we’ll cancel the registration and request a credit to your payment account in Active. Once we apply the credit, you can expect to see the reimbursement show up on your payment account within 10 days.
