COLEMAN GREAT PUMPKIN RUN - 2019 Overview
Huhtamaki Inc is proud to present the 1st Annual Coleman Great Pumpkin Run for 2019! Join runners and walkers alike in a family friendly, early evening Halloween-themed 5k out and back along the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail. Dress up in a run or walk friendly costume and enjoy the fall air!
Proceeds from this race go to benefitting the Coleman Family Center Scholarships.

This race will take place on the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail. It will be an out and back with runners/walkers heading Southeast from the Park Pavilion and turning around at a point 1.55 miles away before returning the finishline. See map for details.
Packet Pickup and Late Registration:
Saturday, October 26th, 2019 from 4:00-5:45 PM at Coleman Park Pavilion (Parking at the PM TRAIL PARKING LOT)
Online Registration closes at Midnight, Thursday, October 24th, 2019. After that, ALL registrations will be completed on-site at late registration/packet pickup at the increased rate of $30 for the 5K event and $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run Event.
NOTE: Active.com charges a nominal fee to participants when registering. We just don’t want you to be surprised when you go to register online!
Event-specific t-shirts are guaranteed ONLY to those who register online before Noon on Friday, October 18th! All registrants who register after that date/time will be provided an alternate t-shirt if event-specific shirts are unavailable on site.
Shirt Sizes Available
Awards will be provided 3 deep to overall male and female winners of the 5K event. Race bibs will be used to raffle off fit bits at the end of the race.
NOTE: All participants will receive high quality finisher medals at the finish line upon completion of their event! While age group results WILL be provided, this year’s event will NOT have age group awards.
Results will displayed at the event and will be posted at TRITOFINISH.COM within 48 hours of race completion.

REFUND AND TRANSFER POLICY
We completely understand that plans change and athletes will sometimes be unable to compete in an event they've signed up for. Unfortunately, refunds will not be provided for any event unless the event is cancelled for reasons within our control. Dangerous weather, natural disasters, and local emergencies are examples of reasons an event may be cancelled that are NOT within our control.
Should an athlete have an injury or other medical issue keeping them from competing in an event they've registered for, we would be happy to transfer their registration to a similar TriToFinish-owned event up to and including the same event the following season. A doctor's slip may be required as proof of injury or ailment. Failure to provide proof if requested will result in non-transfer of the event.
Transferring registrations to other athletes is NOT allowed.
Can I run with my dog? We love dogs too! Unfortunately, USA Track & Field (our sanctioning body and insurance provider) does not allow the participation of animals unless a certified service dog.
Can I run/walk with a stroller? Yes! But please be aware that the race is “out and back” on the rail trail so runners and walkers will be coming back at you after the turnaround. Please be courteous and stay to the right side of the trail with strollers.
What does “USATF Sanctioning” mean? It means that organizers have followed a process with USA Track & Field that requires creation of a safety plan and purchase of outstanding insurance covering participants, volunteers, sponsors, partners and organizers of the event. It also means that your race results will be official for scoring purposes (assuming you track that sort of thing).
What happens if the event is cancelled? Will I receive a refund? If the race is cancelled for reasons Organizers can control then we will work diligently to provide a refund or transfer of registration to another event. However, cancellation due to extreme weather or local emergency is not controlled by organizers and is not reason for reimbursement. We WILL however, attempt to push start of the race back in 30-minute increments until the emergency dissipates.
