Course Description:

Charlevoix is one of Michigan's top tourist cities, and for good reason. A beautiful town that has opened their doors to a triathlon and duathlon. Racers will swim a triangular pattern in the pristine waters of Lake Charlevoix. After gathering their bike belongs, racers will proceed on nicely paved roads as they travel through the spectacular countryside of northern Michigan. Olympic athletes will proceed 20km to their turnaround toward East Jordan. Sprint and Duathlon athletes will proceed 10km to their turnaround. Please view the interactive map for details on routing as certain aspects of the course you will only traverse on the way out while others will only be utilized on the way back to transition. The run course is spectator friendly and gives racers great views of Lake Charlevoix. Olympic athletes will complete two large loops (as indicated on the map) and one small loop. Sprint and Duathlon ahtletes will complete one large loop and one small loop. All athletes will finish at Ferry Beach.

Packet Pickup and Registration:

Packet pickup will take place at Ferry Avenue Park on Saturday August 18 between the hours of 4-7pm. If you are unable to attend packet pickup you must arrive early on race day to receive your chip, number, sponsor products and have enough time to set up your transition area, receive your body markings and proceed to the start line. Race day registration and packet pickup will close promptly at 7:30, 30 minutes before the start of the race.
